A cooperation protocol was signed between the Union of Radio and Television Organizations of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, headed by Dr. Amr El-Leithy, and Media Verse Company, headed by writer and media figure Ahmed El-Taheri, on the sidelines of the Union of Radio Forum activities. This partnership strengthens collaborative media efforts and fosters innovation across broadcasting institutions within OIC member states.

He praised hosting the event in the Egyptian capital, noting it reflects Egypt’s unique standing as a source of creativity and media leadership in the Middle East.

He highlighted BRIDGE’s global track record and the strong promotional build-up ahead of Cairo, which clearly reflects the depth of the UAE–Egypt brotherly ties and mutual appreciation.

El Tahry stated that the upcoming Abu Dhabi edition in December will mark a true turning point between two media eras — before BRIDGE and after — reshaping the global media scene amid AI advances and accelerating innovation.

He emphasized the forward-looking vision of H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Butti Al Hamed, head of the UAE’s National Media Office, positioning the UAE at the forefront of global media leadership. Mediaverse has witnessed this vision up close through strategic partnerships with esteemed organizations, including the UAE Journalists Association and TRENDS Research & Advisory.

He concluded that the UAE has shown that new media is built not only on technology and innovation, but also on deeply-rooted human values of love, tolerance, and openness.
